NATCHEZ — Services for Rosemary Green Singleton, 78, of Vidalia, who died Wednesday, Dec. 14, 2011, at her residence, will be at noon Wednesday at Fourth Street Church of Christ with minister Dwight Greene officiating.
Burial will follow at the Natchez National Cemetery under the direction of Concordia Funeral Home in Ferriday.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Mrs. Singleton was born March 1, 1933, in Vidalia, the daughter of Jimmy and Susie Watkins Green. She was a retired beautician and a member of Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Leon and Arthur Green; one sister, Ernestine G. White; and one grandson, Rodrick Singleton.
Survivors include her husband, Clarence “Bubba” Singleton; one daughter, Renda Singleton; five brothers, Windell Greene and wife, Elnora, Emmitt Moore and wife, Doris, all of Vidalia, Wilbert Green and wife, Cynthia, of Thousand Oaks, Calif., Clifford Green and wife, Wanda, of Las Vegas and Jimmy Green Jr. and wife, Janie, of North Carolina; four sisters, Doretha G. Woodfork and husband, John, of Natchez, Ethel G. Lucas of Sacramento, Calif., Joyce Chocklet and husband, James, of Las Vegas and Hazel Lamar and husband, Albert, of New York; one great-grandson, Rachard Singleton of Vidalia; special niece, Jacqueline M. Hunt of Natchez; and other nieces, nephews and cousins.
