NATCHEZ — Services for Delton Lack, 90, of Natchez, who died Monday, Dec. 26, 2011, at his residence, will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Laird Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Ronald Hall and the Rev. Mark Herrington officiating.
Burial will follow at Springhill Pentecostal Church Cemetery in Wesson under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today and from 9 a.m. until service time Thursday, both at the funeral home.
Mr. Lack was born Sept. 17, 1921, in Mize, the son of D.J. Lack and Ella Bishop Lack. He was retired from International Paper Company and was a veteran of World War II.
Mr. Lack was a member of the United Pentecostals.
Mr. Lack was preceded in death by his parents; one infant son, Denvill Lack; one brother, Dewson Lack; and one sister, Doris Newell.
Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Kary Lack; one daughter, Sylvia Ladean Lack of Natchez; three sisters, Ann Brooks of Vicksburg, Pauline Ferguson and husband, Wallace, of Florence and Rachel Lanford and husband, Charles, of Sunny Hill, La.; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to a charity of choice.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
Honorary pallbearers will be Gene Pennington and Men of Faith Tabernacle Pentecostal Church.
