JACKSON — Jake Winston led Trinity Episcopal with a game-high 13 points and Sky Logan had 11 points as the Saints toppled the MHSAA Class 4A Yazoo County Panthers 42-28 Thursday night at the Jackson Academy Tournament.

Yazoo County came up dry in the first half on the offensive end, not scoring a point in the first quarter. They trailed Trinity 21-2 at halftime. And the final margin of victory for Trinity could have been much wider if the Saints had made more lay-ups in the second half.

Trinity Episcopal improved to 13-4 overall with the win and will take on Madison-Ridgeland Academy in its final game at this tournament Saturday at 5:30 p.m.
