GLOSTER — Services for Rose Mary Longmire Durham, 68, of Baton Rouge, who died Tuesday, Jan. 3, 2012, at Baton Rouge General Medical Center, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Brown Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Sam Raney officiating.
Burial will follow at Mount Carmel Cemetery near Gloster under the direction of Brown Funeral Home in Gloster.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until time of Celebration of Her Life Saturday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Durham was born April 9, 1943, in Wilkinson County, the daughter of A.B. “AD” Longmire and Madeliene Ermyntrude Wilder Longmire. She was a retired music teacher.
Mrs. Durham was a Christian.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Lela Marsh and Laurel Anne Kesterson; and two brothers, Bill and Harry Longmire.
Survivors include her husband, Mike Durham Sr.; one son, Mike Durham Jr.; one daughter, Sherri O’Neal; two stepdaughters, Amy Dobbs and Michelle Durham; two grandchildren, Garrett and Jaci Smith; two brothers, Bob Longmire and wife, Pat, and Dr. Jack Longmire and wife, Sarah; one sister, Susan Jones and husband, Roy; and two sisters-in-law, Jerry Longmire and Patsy Longmire.
