NATCHEZ — Services for Willie Lee Smith, 88, of Tylertown, who died Thursday, Jan. 5, 2012, in Tylertown, will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Laird Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. David O’Connor officiating.

Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery under the directon of Laird Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today and 10 a.m. until service time Monday at the funeral home.

Smith was born April 17, 1923, in Brookhaven, the daughter of Luther L. Lambert and Annie Dunaway Lambert.

She was very active working with senior citizens at the activity center.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Harry W. Smith Sr.; her parents; and two brothers, Bobby Lambert and Melvin Lambert.

Survivors include one son, Harry W. Smith Jr. of Vancleave; one daughter, Patricia A. Smith of Natchez; two brothers, Luther Lambert of Oklahoma and James Lambert of Natchez; two sisters, Shirley Searcy of Poplarville; and Lennie Lambert; eight grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Frank Rhinehart, Jamie Sharp, George Sedaris, Tommy Kimbrough, Charles D. Kimbrough, Eugene Williams, Frankie Williams and Ronald West.
