NATCHEZ — The Natchez Police Department is investigating two robberies that happened on Sunday and Monday.

According to the police report, a man reported Monday that he walked out of Daisy Street Grocery at approximately 8 p.m., and two men jumped and assaulted him. The suspects stole approximately $130 in cash and his cell phone.

Lt. Craig Godbold said a man reported Sunday that he had been assaulted and robbed on Ram Circle. Godbold said the suspects allegedly pushed the man to the ground, assaulted him and took his cash and cell phone.
