Mrs. Felter was born on June 25, 1921, the daughter of Percy Van McCearley and Virginia Pearl Tyler McCearley.

Mrs. Felter married Herbert Edwin Felter in Wilkinson County on August 11, 1939. Mr. Felter died Oct. 5, 1992. A familiar, friendly part of the Woodville community for many decades, Mrs. Moselle worked for several years at the Ben Franklin store and was an active member of Woodville Christian Church. She found happiness and contentment in God’s blessing and life’s simple pleasures. A talented seamstress, crafter and quilter, Mrs. Moselle served as the president of the Happy Homemaker’s Club and was a member of the Thimbles & Threads Quilting Guild.

Mrs. Moselle tended a variety of plants and flowers in her yard, often sharing cutting with friends and neighbors so they, too, could enjoy their beauty. Always full of wit, she loved gathering with her family to celebrate many special occasions. Mrs. Moselle’s life was like her gardening. Because she gave of herself, her legacy — the plantings of wisdom, contentment and love — has taken root and will continue to grow in the lives of others.

The family extends a special thanks to Joan Brown of Woodville. She was Mrs. Moselle’s longtime friend since their time working together at Ben Franklin. Brown faithfully visited and cared for Mrs. Moselle each day during the last few months of Mrs. Moselle’s life.

Mrs. Moselle is preceded in death by her husband, Herbert Edwin Felter; parents, Percy Van McCearley and Virginia Pearl Tyler McCearley.
