WILDSVILLE, La. — Services for Eunice M. Sides, 93, of Concordia Parish, who died Monday, Jan. 23, 2012, at Riverland Medical Center in Ferriday, will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Evangeline Baptist Church in Wildsville, La., with the Rev. Bill Arnold and the Rev. Ralph Webber officiating.

Burial will follow at the church cemetery under the direction of Comer Funeral Home in Ferriday.

Visitation will be from 6 to 10 p.m. today at the church.

Mrs. Sides was born April 19, 1918, in Harrisonburg. She was a homemaker and a lifelong member of 67 years at Evangeline Baptist Church. She was a loving mother, grandmother and friend.

Mrs. Siding’s favorite time was spent outdoors tending to her flowers. She loved to fish.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, Clyde Aaron McEntyre and John Sides.

Survivors include five children, Geneva Tosspon, Jerry McEntyre and wife, Elaine, Elbert McEntyre and wife, Nancy, Vera Elaine Carlton and husband, Sonny, and Elton McEntyre; 17 grandchildren; and a number of great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren and great-great-great-grandchildren.
