RIDGECREST — Services for Patsy Cain, 67, of Ferriday, who died Sunday, Jan. 22, 2012, in Ferriday, will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Evangel Temple Assembly of God in Ridgecrest with Sister Gaye Bradford officiating.
Burial will follow at Mon Colva Cemetery near Waterproof, La., under the direction of Young’s Funeral Home in Ferriday.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the church.
Mrs. Cain was born July 11, 1944, in San Antonio, Texas, the daughter of Virgil King and Viola Day Rude. She was a homemaker and a member of Evangel Temple.
Mrs. Cain was a loving wife, mother and friend.
She was preceded in death by one granddaughter, Hannah Grace Nelson and her parents.
Survivors include her husband, Richard Cain Sr.; one daughter, Stacy Nelson and husband, Billy, of Waterproof; two sons, Richard Cain Jr. and wife, Cheryl, of Ferriday and Donnie Cain and wife, Nikki, of Sicily Island; eight grandchildren, Rickey Nelson, Tabitha Nelson, Miracle Nelson, Jon-Christian Nelson, Devinne Cain, Michael Cain, Donnie Cain and Ty Cain; and one great-granddaughter, Ella Grace Nelson.
Pallbearers will be Rickey Nelson, Donnie Cain, Mickie Cain, Mickey King, Ty Cain and Jewel Verbeck.
