VIDALIA — Services for Jerry Glenn Clifton, 71, of Vidalia, who died Monday, Jan. 23, 2012, at his residence, will be at 2 p.m. today at Young’s Funeral Home in Vidalia with the Rev. Richard Cullum officiating.

Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Young’s Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 12:30 p.m. until service time today at the funeral home.

Mr. Clifton was born May 15, 1940, in Philadelphia, the son of Durwood and Mary Louise Clifton. He was a graduate of Ferriday High School and Northeast Louisiana University. He was a retired certified public accountant and a member of Sycamore Baptist Church.

Mr. Clifton was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include his wife, Virginia Dees Clifton; two sons, David Clifton of Vidalia and Steven Clifton and wife, Lindy, of Vicksburg; one brother, Bill Clifton and wife, Karen Sue, of Ferriday; five grandchildren, Davilyn Davis, Elizabeth Logue, Rhiannon Clifton, Shelby Rhodes and Alex Clifton; and two great-grandchildren, Brennan and Kaylyn Logue.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.
