NATCHEZ — The Natchez Garden Club has announced the 2012 royal court for the Historic Natchez Tableaux. The pages, maids and generals in the royal court will serve the Natchez Garden Club’s king and queen during their reign in the upcoming Spring Pilgrimage.
The court is as follows:
Joanna McKay Waller
Joanna Mckay Waller is the daughter of Wayne and Angie Waller. She is the granddaughter of Richard and Cora Olier of Natchez and Lorraine Waller and the late Douglas Waller of Vidalia.
Joanna is a 2009 graduate of Cathedral High School and attends the University of Southern Mississippi majoring in therapeutic recreation with a dual minor in biology and psychology with plans to attend helicopter flight school after college graduation.
She is an auxiliary member of Whirly Girls, an international society supporting female helicopter pilots.
In high school, Joanna was a member of the Peer Ministry Team, winner of the Julia Viola McNeely Memorial Prize for Poetry, National Honor Society and Natchez Swim Association. She is a member of the USM Rec Club.
Joanna and her family attend Assumption Catholic Church. She enjoys being outdoors, playing sports, art, riding horses and spending time with family and friends. Her past pageant participation includes the Showboat.
Lesley Allyson Pomeroy
Lesley Allyson Pomeroy is the daughter of Clint and Trish Pomeroy. She is the granddaughter of John Lesley and the late Nell Lesley of Mantachie and the late Fred Pomeroy and Lucy Pomeroy of Eufaula, Ala.
Lesley is a 2009 graduate of Trinity Episcopal High School and attends Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge majoring in communication disorders.
Lesley is a member of the National Student Speech Language and Hearing Association, National Society of Collegiate Scholars, National Society of Leadership and President’s List.
Lesley enjoys LSU football, playing sports, cooking, traveling and spending time with family and friends.
Her past pageant participation includes The Wedding and Polka.
Kimberly Michelle King
Kimberly Michelle King is the daughter of Albert King and Kathleen Mackey King. She is the granddaughter of the late Katherine King Dark and the late Huntley King of Greenville and Dorothy Stebbins Mackey and the late Dr. William Howard Mackey of Birmingham, Ala.
Kimberly is a 2010 graduate of Adams County Christian School and attended Mississippi State University and is currently attending Copiah-Lincoln Community majoring in wildlife and fisheries and pre-veterinary medicine.
Kimberly received the Biglane Foundation Scholarship, is a member of the MSU Chapter Wildlife Society, Pre-Vet Club, Baptist Street Union and Sigma Alpha Lambda.
She enjoys volunteering at the Natchez Adams County Humane Society, caring for animals, riding horses, singing and church.
Her past pageant participation includes The Wedding guest, Little Maypole, Big Maypole, lead in the Virginia Reel, Polka, Core Dancer in Fannie Essler and Can-Can Dancer.
Jessica Trudell Cauthen
Jessica Trudell Cauthen is the daughter of Samuel L. Cauthen and the late Connie Cauthen of Natchez.
Jessica is a 2009 graduate of Trinity Episcopal High School and attends Ole Miss majoring in marketing communications with an emphasis in public relations and reputation management.
She enjoys going to the Grove, Art & Decor, shopping, reading and all things Ole Miss.
Her past pageant participation includes Polka.
Olivia Laura Bridewell
Olivia Laura Bridewell is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Adlai Macmillian Pate and Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Bridewell. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Rudy Krueger.
Olivia is a 2010 graduate of St. Joseph’s Academy in Baton Rouge and attended Belmont University in Nashville, Tenn., and is now attending LSU in Baton Rouge majoring in business.
She is a member of the National Honor Society, French Club and Science Club.
She enjoys singing, art and working at Maxwell’s Market.
Her past pageant participation includes Little Maypole.
Reagan Elizabeth Rabb
Reagan Elizabeth Rabb is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bryan Rabb. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Rabb of Natchez and Mr. and Mrs. Terry Fisher of Natchez and Dr. and Mrs. Orrin James of Ferriday.
Reagan is in Kindergarten at Adams County Christian School.
She enjoys dancing, playing tee ball, riding horses, hunting and fishing.
Her past pageant participation includes Little Mapole and Picnic.
Coleman David Carter
Coleman David Carter is the son of David and Paige Carter. He has one sister, Harper.
He is the grandson of Kinney and Ann Carlton of Natchez and Craig Carter of Hammond, La. He is the great grandson of Ann Ballew of Natchez and Henry and Martha Jo Johnson of Folsom, La.
Coleman is five years old and in kindergarten at Cathedral School.
Coleman was the Mascot for the 2011 Homecoming Court at Cathedral. He attends First Baptist Church in Natchez and is active in Mission Friends and choir. Coleman enjoys playing soccer and tee ball. His favorite activities are riding horses, roping and being a cowboy.
He also enjoys fishing, watching western movies and playing with friends.
Coleman’s past pageant participation includes Little Maypole, Picnic, Showboat and The Hunt.
Kathleen Renee McAndrews
Kathleen Renee McAndrews is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Mark McAndrews. She is the granddaughter of the late Isaac F. Milligan, Jr. and Mrs. Patricia Milligan of Vidalia, La. and Mr. and Mrs. E.C. McAndrews of Natchez.
Kathleen is 2010 graduate of Cathedral High School and is attending Copiah-Lincoln Community College majoring in biological science.
She was a member of the Cathedral Key Club, Swim Team, Girls Soccer Team and Emerald Tide Dance Team, captain her senior year, Peer Ministry Team, Parkway Baptist Youth Group, 2010 recipient of the National Computer Science Award and in 2010-2011 Copiah-Lincoln Community College Blue Wave Show Band Collette.
She enjoys art, music, singing, dance, swimming and soccer.
Her past pageant participation includes LIttle Maypole, Big Maypole, Polka Favor Girl, Placard Bearer, Virginia Reel dancer, Middleton School of Dance Can Can, Soiree and Soiree Sweetheart 2010.
Preston Blanchard Edward
Preston Blanchard Edwards is the son Mr. and Mrs. Duke Edwards. He is the grandson of the late Ellen Blanchard Edwards of Natchez and Gayle Edwards of Natchez and the late Mr. and Mrs. Delane Thornhill of Vidalia, La.
Preston is a 2009 graduate of Cathedral High School and attended Copiah-Lincoln Community College on a baseball scholarship and attended Mississippi State University majoring in ag/business. He is currently employed in the family cattle and construction business at Pinecrest Plantation.
In high school Preston was Metro Player of the Year in baseball, Most Athletic, selected to play and played in the Mississippi All Star game. He attends St, Mary Basilica.
Preston enjoyes hunting, fishing, sports, and spending time with family and friends.
His past pageant participation includes Little Maypole, Big Maypole, Fisherboy, substitute in Court and Page to King Grayson Lewis and Queen Rebecca Biglane.
Derrick Butchart Garrity
Derrick Butchart Garrity is the son of Dr. Byron and Dorothy Garrity. He is the grandson of Ann Elizabeth Burns Garrity and the late William Byron Garrity, Sr. and Betty Derrick Gillette and the late Dr. Claude G. Gillette, Jr.
Derrick is a 2009 graduate of Cathedral High School and attends the University of Southern Mississippi majoring in physical education and sports coaching.
Derrick is an Eagle Scout and enjoys soccer and spending time with family and friends.
His past pageant participation includes The Hunt, Polka and stage hand.
Douglas Wayne Netterville, Jr.
Douglas Wayne Netterville, Jr. is the son of Douglas Wayne Netterville, Sr. of Natchez and Shannon McMahon Netterville of Brandon. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Lester Smith, the late Lafayette Netterville and John Taylor McMahon and the late Nancy Irene McMahon
Doug is a 2011 graduate of Northwest Rankin High School in Brandon and currently attends Copiah-Lincoln Community College majoring in business.
Doug enjoys hunting, working out and spending time with family and friends.
His past pageant participation includes Little Maypole.
George Steven Eames
George Steven Eames is the son of Pam and David Eames. He is the grandson of Patsy Eames and the late George Eames of Ferriday, La. and Louise Wyant and the late Robert Wyant of Ferriday, La.
Steven graduated from Cathedral High School in 2008 and attends Copiah-Lincoln Community College majoring in Business.
Steven enjoys flying his Ballanca Scout, scuba diving, jet skiing and riding motorcycles.
His past pageant participation includes Little Maypole, Big Maypole, Picnic, Fisherboy, Flag Runner, The Wedding and 2011 Court.
Joshua Miller Gamberi
Joshua Miller Gamberi is the son Mr. and Mrs. Joe Gamberi. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. John A. Leckie of Natchez and the late Mr. and Mrs. Joe Gamberi, Sr. of Natchez.
Josh is a 2009 graduate of Cathedral High School and attends Belhaven University majoring in Sports Medicine. In high school Josh earned Eagle Scout, Mr. CHS, National Honor Society, Key Club, in football lettered three years, All Metro, All District, All Region. In tennis Joshua lettered two years, Peer Ministry Team, attends St. Mary Basilica, was member of CYO, attended Catholic Heart Work Camp for three summers. At Belhaven is on the football team, Dean’s List Scholar, Sports Medicine and Excercise Science Club and Academic Excellence in Athletic’s Award.
Josh enjoys hunting, snow skiing, wakeboarding, fishing and cooking.
His past pageant participation includes Little Maypole, Big Maypole, Picnic, Wheelroller in
Showboat, Groom and Groomsman in The Wedding, Raising of the Flag (Indian and Soldier),
Polka, Confederate Flag Runner and 2011 Court.
Andrew Garretson Johnson
Andrew Garretson Johnson is the son of William “Butch” Johnson and Brenda W. Floyd. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Aubrey Price and the late Mr. Cecil Whitehead of Natchez and Mr. and Mrs. William Johnson, Jr. of Natchez.
Andrew graduated from Trinity Episcopal Day School in 2009 and attends East Mississippi Community College majoring in construction management.
Andrew lettered in football his sophomore and junior year, and in basketball three years. His junior year he was All District 3AA 1st Team, Natchez Democrat All Metro 2nd Team, South State AA All Tournament Team and State AA All Tournament Team. His senior year he was All District 3AA 1st Team, South State AA All Star, All Metro 2nd Team, South State AA All Tournament, Most Valuable Player, MPSA Tournament Team and MPSA Runner Up 3 Point Shoot Out. He received a basketball scholarship to Copiah-Lincoln Community College, Wesson.
Andrew is a member of Jefferson Street United Methodist Church. He enjoys hunting, fishing and 4-wheel riding.
His past pageant participation includes Little Maypole, Big Maypole and Polka and member of the court in 2011.
