MANSURA, La. — Services for Sarita J. Berlin, 72, of Mansura, La., who died Saturday, Jan. 28, 2012, at Dubuis Hospital, will be 11 a.m. today at Escude Funeral Home with the Rev. Chad Partain officiating.

Burial will follow at St. Paul Catholic Mausoleum in Mansura under the direction of Escude Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until service time today at the funeral home.

Mrs. Berlin was preceded in death by her father, George H. Johns and her mother, Maude A. Lake Johns.

Survivors include her husband, Donald Berlin; three daughters, Mary Elizabeth Lanier of Lutz, Fla., Julie Laborde of Pretoria, South Africa and Jan Coker of Chesapeake Beach, Md.; one stepdaughter, Lisa Berlin of Lafayette, La.; one brother, George Johns of Charlotte, N.C.; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family humbly requests donations be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 262 Danny Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
