TRANSYLVANIA, La. — Services for Flora L. Schepers, 80, of Alsatia, who died Friday, Feb. 3, 2012, at the River Region Medical Center in Vicksburg after a lengthy illness, will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Melbourne Baptist Church with the Rev. Butch Goodman officiating.

Burial will follow at 3 p.m. in the Green Lawn Memorial Park Cemetery in Natchez.

Visitation will be from 3 p.m. on 5 p.m. today at the church.

Mrs. Schepers was born in Natchez and had lived in Alsatia for 46 years. She was a homemaker and a retired ward clerk in the nursing home. She was also a member of Melbourne Baptist Church.

Survivors include her son, Elmer V. “Chris” Schepers Jr., of Tallulah; daughter, Eva Schepers Holmes, of Tallulah; six grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, two sisters, Wilda Martin, of Natchez, and Sheila “LuLa” Calhoun of Shreveport.

Pallbearers will be deacons of Melbourne Baptist Church.
