VIDALIA — Services for Lehman Howell Jones, 63, of Natchez, who died Monday, Feb. 13, 2012, at University Medical Center in Jackson, will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at First Baptist Church of Vidalia with the Rev. Dusty Carson officiating.
Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Young’s Funeral Home in Vidalia.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Mr. Jones was born March 31, 1948, in Jonesville, the son of James Buford Jones and Lola Beatrice Sikes Jones. He was employed as an oil field mechanic and was a member of First Baptist Church of Vidalia.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, J.B. Jones and Edward Jones; and three sisters, Katherine Watson, Maude Joiner and Elaine Arnold.
Survivors include his wife, Reba Jones; three sons, Lehman Daniel Jones and wife, Karrie, of Eros, La., Jimmy Jones and wife, Wanita, of Farmerville, La., and Lehman Jacob Jones of Natchez; one daughter, Rebecca Hartley and husband, Jeff, of Vidalia; one stepson, Carl Wesley Robert III and wife, Karrie, of Vidalia; one brother, Robert Eugene Jones of Chatham, La.; 11 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Jimmy Jones, Jacob Jones, Dylon Jones, Jordan Jones, Andy Briggs, Jonathan Jones, Lehman Daniel Jones and Sherman Briggs.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Concordia Bank Family Trust in Vidalia.
