NATCHEZ — Carnival scrooges have one last shot to ring in Mardi Gras this weekend.

The Krewe of Phoenix’s parade will roll at 5 p.m. Friday, and parade Director Curtis Moroney said he expects approximately 35 floats to cruise in the parade.

“We’re going to have lots of floats, a few bands, lots of beads and hopefully nice weather,” he said.
