BALTIMORE, Md. — Doris Evelyn Adams Bass, 83, died Wednesday, Feb. 22, 2012, in Baltimore, Md., after a short illness.
Memorial services will be in Natchez in the spring.
Burial will follow at the Natchez City Cemetery in the family plot.
Arrangements are under the direction of Burgee, Henss & Seitz Funeral Home in Baltimore.
Mrs. Bass was employed by Armstrong Tire and Rubber Company for a number of years and later moved to Baltimore with her son. She was also employed by Lancellata Realty and Schenutt Rubber Company until her retirement.
Mrs. Bass was preceded in death by her mother, Carrie Foster Adams; her sister, Mildred Adams Smith; and two brothers, Clyde Richard Adams and Curtis Percy Adams.
Survivors include one son, Lawrence Everette “Larry” Bass of Baltimore; three nephews, Vernon E. Smith Jr. and wife, Peggy, Richard Curtis “Ricky” Smith Sr. and wife, Micki, and Clyde Richard Adams Jr.; and two nieces, Cara René Adams and Tanna Adams Davis and husband, Vidal, all of Natchez.
