Alton and Betty Pecanty of Vidalia will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with a reception Sunday, March 11, 2012, from 2 to 4 p.m. at Concordia Bank in Vidalia. They have two children, Andrea Irvin and husband, Joe, of Natchez and Darin Pecanty and wife, Amy, of Arkansas and four grandchildren. The couple was married Feb. 23, 1962.
