HUDSON, N.Y. — Services for Andrew J. Butler, 54, of Albany, N.Y., who died Wednesday, March 7, 2012, at Albany Memorial Hospital, were Monday, March 12, 2012, at Bates and Anderson Funeral Home in Hudson, N.Y.

Mr. Butler was born Sept. 22, 1957, in Natchez, the son of James Butler Sr. and Tennessee Johnson Butler. He was employed by Home Depot in Dallas until he became disabled.

Andrew was preceded in death his parents; one brother, Johnny Latham; and one sister, Sonna Butler.

Survivors include his wife, Vera Fason Butler; one daughter, Dana Butler; one brother, James Butler Jr. and wife, Rosetta, of Natchez; five sisters, Mary Hunt, Elizabeth Latham, Carrie B. Minor and Lillie Mae Anderson and husband, Charles, all of Natchez, and Rosie Lee Knight of Las Vegas; one aunt, Carrie Myles; two grandchildren; one sister-in-law, Augusta Latham of Natchez; and a number of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
