NATCHEZ — Services for Roger “Woody” Woodfork, 63, of Natchez, who died Wednesday, March 7, 2012, at Natchez Community Hospital, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Jerusalem Baptist Church.
Burial will follow at Sunset View Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until service time Saturday at the church.
Mr. Woodfork was born Nov. 10, 1948, in Adams County, the son of Myles Woodfork and Lenora Curtis.
She was preceded in death by his parents; and three siblings, Keith A. Jackson, Dorothy J. Wade and Joseph Woodfork.
Survivors include two daughters, Marlaine Woodfork of Chichicastenago Guatemala, Central America, and Sierra Woodfork of Natchez; one son, Roger Woodfork Jr. of Houston, Texas; three grandchildren, Faith Miles, Hope Miles, both of Kenner, La., and Erick Johnson-Woodfork of Lancaster, Texas; three sisters, Rita Jackson, Dawn Patricia Fleming and Lori Ann White, all of Natchez; seven brothers, Henry Jones and wife, Helen, of St. Louis, Mo., Harold Curtis and wife, Irene, Michael Jackson and Ricky Jackson, all of Houston, Eddie Jackson Curtis Jr. of Natchez, Morris Jackson of Baton Rouge and Charles Jackson and wife, Constance, of Norfork, Va.; one aunt, Beatrice Stevenson of St. Louis; and a number of nieces, nephews,
other relatives and friends.
