FERRIDAY — Services for Louise Vaughn, 79, of Vidalia, who died Tuesday, March 20, 2012, at LTAC of Louisiana Regional Hospital in Lafayette, La., will be at noon Friday at the Community Center in Ferriday, Louisiana 15.

Burial will follow at the Vidalia Cemetery under the direction of Concordia Funeral Home in Ferriday.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Mrs. Vaughn was born Jan. 30, 1933, in Lake Providence, La., the daughter of Alex and Gertrude Montgomery Terry. She was a certified nurse’s assistant.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Willie Vaughn and her parents.

Survivors include six sons, James Vaughn of Brentwood, Calif., Charles Vaughn and wife, Glenda, of New Orleans, Roger Vaughn and wife, Dorothy, of Natchez, David Vaughn of Vidalia, William Vaughn and wife, Sharon, of Memphis, Tenn., and Willie Vaughn Jr. of Las Vegas; five daughters, Mary Murray and husband, Bobby, of Ridgecrest, Julia Copper and husband, Earl, of New Orleans, Elizabeth Vaughn and Paul Bourke, of Vidalia Dallas Johnson and husband, Sydney, of Natchez and Gertrude Vaughn of Houston, Texas; 19 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.
