JONESVILLE — Services for Lucy Mae Harrist, 90, who died Friday, March 23, 2012, at Winnfield General Hospital, will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Mount Zion Baptist Church of Doddridge, Ark., with the Revs. Gary O’Day and Keith Murray officiating. Burial will follow at the church cemetery under the direction of Comer Funeral Home, Ferriday. Visitation will be 10 a.m. until service time Monday at the church.

Harrist was a resident of Jonesville, a former resident of Vidalia, a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church and former member of First Baptist Church of Vidalia. She was a retired hospital ward clerk.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert B. Harrist, and one grandson, Christian Harrist.

Survivors include one daughter, Alice Hamby, one son, Michael Harrist; two brothers, Edgar and Billy Sproles; two sisters, Margie Green and Jessie Dee Bruchmiller; three grandchildren, Keith Murray and wife, Angela, Curtis Murray and wife, Anita, and Chad Murray; nine great grandchildren, Bethany, Seth, Caleb, Jacob, Micah, Gracie, Harlie, Rylie and Maddy; and a number of nieces and newphews.
