FERRIDAY — Services for Jessie Wrinkle Paris, 90, of Ferriday, who died Tuesday, April 3, 2012, in Ferriday, will be at 2 p.m. Friday at The Pentecostals of the Miss-Lou with the Rev. Gary Howington, the Rev. Todd Tucker and the Rev. Jeremy Howington officiating.

Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Young’s Funeral Home in Ferriday.

Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. today at the church.

Mrs. Paris was born Jan. 16, 1922, in Kinder, La. She was a faithful member of The Pentecostals of the Miss-Lou.

Mrs. Paris was a homemaker and a certified nurse’s assistant at Concordia Hospital for a number years, where she took great pride in providing special care for the patients.

“Grandmother” will always be known for her loving and giving spirit. She truly gave of herself throughout her life to her family and friends. Her most joy in life came from cooking and spending time with her husband, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Paris was preceded in death by her husband, Carby N. Paris; her parents; one brother, Robert Wrinkle; and one nephew, the Rev. Robert Fuller.

Survivors include two daughters, Judith Bingham and husband, Tommy, of Clayton and Ann Goodman and husband, Jeffery, of Ferriday; one sister, Annie Mae Fuller of Huntington, Texas; three granddaughters, Cindy Bales of The Woodlands, Texas, Gayla Howington of Baton Rouge and Bethani Goodman of Ferriday; three grandsons, Trey Bingham and Tim Bingham, both of Fort Worth, Texas and Eddie Howington of Baton Rouge; four great-grandchildren, Carly Bales, Cyle Bales, Haley Howington and Hayden Howington; and one great-great-grandson, Carson Walton Bales.

Pallbearers will be Eddie Howington, Trey Bingham, Tim Bingham, Aaron Herrington, Cyle Bales, Hayden Howington, Casey Young and Artemio Ramos.

Honorary pallbearers will be Dr. Huey Moak, Mitch Rushing, Richard Walters, John Maples, Brandon Vickers and Tommy Barron.
