NATCHEZ — Services for Catherine Mitchell, 77, of Natchez, who died Tuesday, March 27, 2012, at Natchez Community Hospital, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Beulah Baptist Church with the Rev. Carl Smith officiating.

Burial will follow at Skinner Cemetery under the direction of Robert D. Mackel and Sons Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 1 to 6:30 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Mrs. Mitchell was born Sept. 20, 1934, in Gloster, the daughter of Joe Huff. She was a homemaker and a member of Beulah Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her father; three children; two sisters; two brothers; and one stepson, Gregory “Wayne” King.

Survivors include her companion of 26 years, Harvey “Hersey” King; five children; two stepchildren, Brenda Holmes and husband, Huey, of Natchez and Shannon King of Baton Rouge; one sister, Dean Williams of Fayette; nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces, nephes, other relatives and friends.
