Tim Richards and Kay Finley of Monterey announce the engagement of their daughter, Kathryn Richards to Travis McElwee, son of Keith and Darlene McElwee of Vidalia.

The bride-to-be is a graduate of Monterey High School and a graduate of Jones County Junior College in Ellisville. She is employed by Community Medical Group in Natchez.

She is the granddaughter of James Ed Finley and the late Betty Jo Finley of Monterey and the late Lindy and Ann Richards of Lismore, La.

The groom-to-be is a graduate of Huntington School in Ferriday and is employed by Energy Drilling, Inc., in Natchez.

He is the grandson of Ethel McElwee and the late Ernest McElwee of Cottonport, La.

The wedding will be at 5 p.m., Saturday, April 28, 2012, at gazebo on the Natchez bluff.
