NATCHEZ — Services for Barbara “Bobbie” Escarre Latham, 76, of Natchez, who died Monday, April 16, 2012, at Natchez Community Hospital, will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Laird Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. David O’Connor officiating.
Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Mrs. Latham was born July 15, 1935, in Natchez, the daughter of Adolph Ferdinand Escarre and Velma Evans Escarre. She was a member of the Assumption Catholic Church.
Mrs. Latham worked and managed sporting goods departments at Woolco, TG&Y, Howard’s and K-Mart. She also employed by Fun Tunnel and United Artists Cinema Four in Natchez. She was a member of the Natchez Moose Lodge, Senior Citizen Center and Rivergate Bowl.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Glynn A. Latham; her parents; and her double first cousin, T.W. Ammon.
Survivors include two sons, Mark A. Latham of Omaha, Neb., and retired Master Sgt. Timothy A. Latham of Natchez; one daughter, Dianne Latham Watts of Natchez; six grandchildren, Amelia “Amee” Pilgrim and husband, James David, Derric Mobley, Chancey S. Watts, Sarah Joy Latham, Elizabeth Rose Latham and Teresa Renee Latham; and four great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Derric Mobley, Chancey Watts, David Pilgrim, John Fleming Jr. and Casey France.
