VIDALIA — Water service to a few houses on Murray Drive was shutoff briefly Wednesday morning during routine maintenance of a water line.

Utility Superintendent Mark Morace said there was a small leak in one of the water lines along the street, and his crew temporarily shut off the flow of water to fix the leak.

The water was turned back on by Wednesday afternoon.
