NATCHEZ — Services for Esther Patterson Anderson, 87, of Natchez, who died Monday, April 23, 2012, at Natchez Regional Medical Center, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Paul Baptist Church with the Rev. Reuban Evans officiating.

Burial will be Monday at the Natchez National Cemetery under the direction of Robert D. Mackel and Sons Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 1 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home and from 10 a.m. until service time Saturday at the church.

Mrs. Anderson was born Nov. 4, 1924, in Adams County, the daughter of James Patterson and Rosemary Jackson Patterson. She was a member of St. Paul Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, William T. Anderson.

Survivors include three sons, William Anderson and wife, Linda, James Anderson and wife, Claretta D., and Tommy Lee Anderson, all of Natchez; four daughters, Ernestine A. Banks, Doris Patterson and husband, Andrew, Rebecca A. Frye and husband, Andrew, all of Natchez, and Rachel Stiff and husband, Charles, of Jackson; 12 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; one sister, Imogene Briggs of Texas; and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
