Johnnie and Essie Donald will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary with a reception today from 1 to 3 p.m., at Vidalia First Baptist Church. The event will be hosted by their four children, Johnnie and Brenda Donald, Pam and Jimmy Higgins, Teressa and Eddie Reynolds and Gerard and Regina Donald. They have nine grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. The couple was married April 26, 1952, in Fort Dix, N.J., and have lived in Vidalia for 58 years. Family and friends are welcome.
