VIDALIA — Services for John Michael Dickens, 51, of Vidalia, who died Sunday, April 29, 2012, in Vidalia, will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Young’s Funeral Home in Ferriday.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Mr. Dickens was born Dec. 12, 1960, in Galliano, La. He was employed as a pipe x-ray supervisor in the oil field.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his favorite dog, Zeus.

Survivors include his wife, Patsy Dickens; four daughters, Keri Dickens of Birmingham, Ala., Erin Dickens of Natchez, Patti LaCour of Alexandria, La., and Lisa Anne Crooks of Vidalia; one son, Carol Wayne Crooks Jr. of Alexandria; two brothers, Donnie Dickens and wife, Belinda, and Larry Dickens and wife, April, all of Vidalia; one sister, Tammy Johnston and husband, Kelly, of Natchez; four grandchildren; and a number of nieces, nephews and friends.
