NATCHEZ — Services for Joyce Davidson, 73, of Natchez, who died Tuesday, May 1, 2012, at Promise Hospital in Vidalia, will be at 2 p.m. today at Lovely Lane United Methodist Church in Natchez with the Rev. Len McCraney officiating.

Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Young’s Funeral Home.

Mrs. Davidson was born Dec. 10, 1938, in Hazlehurst, the daughter of Barney Evans and Gladys Louise Mooney Evans. She was retired.

Mrs. Davidson was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Ray Davidson; her parents; one niece, Donna Lynn Evans; and one uncle, James Mooney.

Survivors include one son, Randy Davidson and wife, Liz, of Brookhaven; two daughters, Glenda Buckles and husband, Aaron, of Natchez and Theresa Davidson of Vidalia; one brother, Bernie Evans and wife, Dot, of Magnolia; one aunt, Juanita “Mary” Mooney of Vidalia; 13 grandchildren, Rand Davidson, Stan Davidson, Ann Davidson Foster, Brandon Davidson, Michael Thornhill, David Buckles, Aaron Buckles Jr., Sara Buckles Smith, Brian Melton, Stephen Melton, Joshua Melton, Natalie Hill and Brenda Temple; and 11 great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be grandsons.
