FERRIDAY — Services for Kenya Cauley, 17, of Ferriday, who died Sunday, May 13, 2012, at Rapides Regional Medical Center in Alexandria, La., will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Mercy Seat Baptist Church in Ferriday with the Rev. T.A. Baker Jr. officiating.

Burial will follow at the Ferriday Cemetery under the direction of Concordia Funeral Home in Ferriday.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Kenya was born May 28, 1994, in Ferriday, the son of Doyle Brown and Marilyn Cauley.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Robert Cauley and paternal grandfather, Nathaniel Conner.

Survivors include his father of Lawrenceville, Ga.; his mother; four brothers, Kendarius Cauley, Jadarius Cauley, Keontrae Cauley and Doyle Brown Jr.; four sisters, Casandra Cauley, Tanesha Cauley, Tanchicca Meredith and Iesha Meredith; maternal grandmother, Sandra Cauley; paternal grandmother, Beatrice Brown; special aunt, Antoinette Tennessee, all of Ferriday; four uncles; and four aunts.
