NATCHEZ — Services for Rachel King “Tassie” Mitchell, 87, of Sibley, who died Wednesday, May 16, 2012, at Crown Health and Rehab in Natchez, will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Mount Sinai Baptist Church in Sibley with the Rev. James Brooks officiating.

Burial will follow at the church cemetery under the direction of Bateaste Memorial Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Mrs. Mitchell was born Aug. 5, 1924, in Adams County, the daughter of Henry and Rachel King. She was a homemaker and a Baptist.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Claudie Lee Mitchell.

Survivors include one son, Henry Mitchell and wife, Bobbie, and one daughter, Mary Ann Brown and husband, Fred.

Pallbearers will be friends of the family.
