Adams County Justice Court Cases

Week of May 11-17:

Ronald Watson pleaded guilty to simple assault. Watson also pleaded guilty to DUI — second offense.

Rodrico Cravens pleaded guilty to false pretense.

Dan Butler Cameron charged with sale of a contraband. Case bound over to a grand jury.

William Lyles III charged with sale of a contraband. Case bound over to a grand jury. Lyles was also charged with petit larceny. Case remanded to files.

Randy Blanton Jr. pleaded guilty to petit larceny. Blanton also pleaded guilty to false pretense.

Ashley Cupit pleaded guilty to petit larceny.

Dennis R. Buckles pleaded guilty to trespassing.

Week of May 11-17:

Natchez Municipal Court Cases

Monday, May 14:

Brandy Washington, Age N/A, charged with violating the leash law for dogs. Case dismissed at request of officer; dogs are no longer at residence.

Marcus C. Frazier, 34, found guilty of disturbing the peace by fighting. Fine set at $392 with $288 suspended. Must pay a fine of $104.

Erica M. White, 33, pleaded guilty to leaving the scene of an accident. Fine set at $250. White also pleaded guilty to failure to maintain insurance proof in vehicle. Fine set at $250.

Cedric Maurice Tenner Jr., 19, charged with alcoholic beverage possession by a minor. Case dismissed — wrong defendant. Person arrested was not defendant. New charges to be filed.

 

Wednesday, May 16:

Derrick Terell Jackson, 34, found not guilty of loitering. Jackson was found guilty of disorderly conduct — failure to comply with officer. Sentenced to 30 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Fine set at $444.

McKinley Brady, 33, charged with loitering. Case remanded to files subject to other plea.

Kalyn Owen, 22, charged with disorderly conduct — failure to comply with officer. Case remanded to files subject to providing rehab.

Donderic Markeith Minor, 32, charged with possession of a controlled substance. Case dismissed — officer failed to appear and other officer left. Minor was also charged with DUI — other substance. Case dismissed — officer failed to appear and other officer left courtroom and didn’t come back.

John Courtney Holleman Jr., 26, charged with public drunkenness. Case remanded to files.

McKinley Brady, 33, pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct — failure to comply with officer. Sentenced to 30 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Fine set at $594.

Mary Joan Thompson, 53, charged with petit larceny. Case remanded to files — keys recovered.

Tressie Lee Foster, 27, found guilty of shoplifting — first offense. Sentenced to 30 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Cash bond set at $706.

Brenda Gail Wagley, 35, pleaded guilty to shoplifting — first offense. Sentenced to 30 days with 29 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. To serve 24 hours in jail Fine set at $444. Cash bond set at $1,367. Wagley also pleaded guilty to shoplifting — first offense. Sentenced to 30 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Fine set at $444. Cash bond set at $1,367.
