Escaped inmates captured in Hattiesburg

WOODVILLE — Two Wilkinson County Community Work Center inmates reported missing late Thursday have been found in Hattiesburg.
Authorities were searching for Robert Eugene Lee and Raymond Madison. They were found at approximately 11 a.m. today.
Lee, 19, is serving a seven-year sentence for convictions of burglary of a residence and burglary of a vehicle from Forrest County.
Madison, 19, is serving a six-year sentence for two burglary convictions from Forrest County.
Both offenders now face multiple charges including escape.
The Woodville Police Department was investigating a missing Ford Taurus that was stolen between midnight and 3 a.m. near the Wilkinson County Community Work Center. The tag number of the stolen vehicle is WKE 970.
At 7:30 a.m. today, the escapees were positively identified in the stolen vehicle in the Hattiesburg area.
