NATCHEZ — Services for Clara Edney Wyatt, 68, of Cranfield, who died Friday, June 1, 2012, at her residence, will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Webb Funeral Home Chapel with Elder Josh Whitley officiating.
Burial will follow at the Natchez City Cemetery under the direction of Webb Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Mrs. Wyatt was born March 19, 1944, in Natchez, the daughter of Eugene and Mary Edney.
Mrs. Wyatt had a master’s degree in food service management. She was retired from Vanderbilt Hospital as a dietitian. She enjoyed cooking and decorating.
She was Apostolic.
Mrs. Wyatt was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Henry Edney; two sisters, Margaret Wells and Elizabeth H. Edney; and five brothers, Wilbert Edney, David Edney, James Edney, John Edney and Joseph Edney.
Survivors include her loving husband, Charles Wyatt; two sisters, Peggy Buie and husband, Dunk, of Chicago and Cora Edney of Natchez; two brothers, Daniel Edney of Natchez and Phillip Edney of Nashville, Tenn.; three brothers-in-law, Zeb Wyatt, Eugene Wyatt and Eugene Wyatt Jr.; three sisters-in-law, Dorothy Wyatt, Jessie Garrett and Beatrice Wyatt; three special cousins, Norris Edney, Lucille Anderson and Frank Bacon; and a number of nieces, nephews, cousins and other friends.
Pallbearers will be Wilson Edney, Kelvin Arbuthnot, Frank Bacon, Michael Bacon, Dunk Buie and Dunk Buie Jr.
