FERRIDAY — Services for Joyce Louise Crelia, 63, of Ferriday, who died Saturday, June 16, 2012, in Shreveport,a La., will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Young’s Funeral Home Chapel.

Mrs. Crelia was born Jan. 2, 1949, in Natchez.

She was raised in Shaw, La., and had worked as a manager and assistant manager for several local department stores as well as working as a nurses aid.

Mrs. Crelia was preceded in death by her parents, Fannie and James L. Simpson Sr.; one great-grandson, Noah Farmer; one sister, Jane Reeves; and one nephew, Johnny Morace Jr.

Survivors include her husband, Roy G. Crelia of Ferriday; three sons, Tony Mulvihill of Dallas, Roy Crelia Jr. of Ferriday and Victor Crelia of Virginia; two daughters, Sandra Phillips and husband, Mark, of Ferriday and Vickie Lynn Cothern and husband, David, of Natchez; one brother, J.L. Simpson Jr. of Shaw, La.; ten grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be her grandsons.
