NATCHEZ — Services for Carl Profice Sr., 85, of Natchez, who died Tuesday, June 19, 2012, at Natchez Community Hospital, will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Zion Hill Baptist Church No. 1.

Burial will follow at the Natchez City Cemetery under the direction of Robert D. Mackel and Sons Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home and from noon until service time Saturday at the church.

Mr. Profice was born Oct. 26, 1926, in Adams County, the son of Alex Profice and Georgia Anna Minor.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include his wife, Georgia McRainey Profice; five children, Carl Profice and wife, Patricia, Layforn Profice, Willie L. Profice and wife, Rosena, Annie Mosby and husband, Alton, and Larry Profice and wife, Sandra, all of Natchez; 11 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; one brother, James Profice and wife, Mary; and a number of other relatives and friends.

Pallbearers will be friends of the family.
