FAYETTE — Services for Seth Bernard Knight, 53, of Natchez, who died Wednesday, June 20, 2012, in Meridian, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Poplar Hill African Methodist Episcopal Church with the Rev. Ruby Mallory officiating.

Burial will follow at Locust Grove Cemetery in Fayette under the direction of Bateaste Memorial Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Mr. Knight was born in Jefferson County, the son of Sidney B. Knight Sr. and Lillie Knight. He was a 1978 graduate of Jefferson County High School and attended Locust Grove Baptist Church.

Mr. Knight was a U.S. Army veteran.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Sidney B. Knight Jr.

Survivors include one child, Cheryl Collins-Conway and husband, Major, and two grandchildren, Crinicia A. Collins and Crislyn D. Conway.
