Willie Jr. and Theresa Dobbins of Natchez announce the engagement of their daughter, Talesia Dobbins to John Demouchette, son of Lou Anna Demouchette of Houston, Texas.

The bride-to-be is a graduate of Natchez High School and a graduate of Copiah-Lincoln Community College in Natchez. She is employed by Camelot Living Leisure in Ferriday.

She is the granddaughter of the late Willie Sr. and Henrietta Dobbins of Natchez and Freddie and Viola Steples of Chicago.

The groom-to-be is a graduate of Phyliss Wheatley High School in Houston.

He is the grandson of the late Weston Demauchette and Agnus Moton and Hazel Johnette, all of Breaux Bridge, La.

The wedding will be at 3 p.m., Saturday, July 7, 2012, at the Natchez Shrine Club.

A reception will follow.
