Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Chauvin of Vidalia and Mr. and Mrs. Paul Guidroz of Plano, Texas, announce the engagement of their daughter, Mallory Guidroz to Ben Price, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Price of Baton Rouge.

The bride-to-be is a graduate of Vidalia High School and a graduate of Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge. She is employed by Hydro Quip in Baton Rouge.

She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Hill and the late Nelda Hill of Winnsboro, La., Mr. and Mrs. Larry Chauvin of Vidalia, Mr. Ralph Guidroz and the late Joy Guidroz and Mr. and Mrs. Joe Johnson of Longview, Texas.

The groom-to-be is a graduate of Robert E. Lee High School in Baton Rouge. He is also employed by Hydro Quip in Baton Rouge.

He is the grandson of Mrs. Wyolene Rainer and Mr. Tom Rainer of Monroe, La., and Mrs. Anne Price and the late Edwin Warfield Price of Baton Rouge.

The wedding will be at 6 p.m., Saturday, July 7, 2012, at St. John’s Methodist Church in Baton Rouge.

A reception will follow at the Baton Rouge Gallery for Contemporary Art.
