NATCHEZ — Services for Myrtle Louise Morris, 79, of Natchez, who died Saturday, June 30, 2012, at her residence, will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Highland Baptist Church with the Rev. Paul Southerland officiating.

Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. today at Highland Baptist Church and Monday from 9:30 a.m. until the start of the service.

Mrs. Morris was born Dec. 16, 1932, in Tylertown, the daughter of Wallace and Laura Willoughby. Mrs. Morris was a cosmetologist with the House of Beauty. She was a member of Highland Baptist Church, a Sunday School teacher and a former board member of Natchez Children’s Home.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Faye Gasquet; and one brother, Harlan Willoughby.

Survivors include her husband, Harvey Morris of Natchez; two sons, Gill Morris of Natchez and Gale Morris of Jackson; one daughter, Jenny Parker and husband, Terry, of Caledonia; four grandchildren, Lane Parker and wife, Kristi, of Caledonia, Hunter Parker and wife, Jenna, of Vidalia, Jason Morris of Jackson and Jamie Morris of Dallas; four great-grandchildren, Emily Parker, Ava Parker, Alyssa Parker and August Hunter Parker; and one sister, Edna Hedgepeth of Monticello.

Pallbearers will be Terry Parker, Lane Parker, Hunter Parker, Jamie Morris, Jason Morris and Britton McCall.

Honorary pallbearers will be former and active deacons of Highland Baptist Church.
