CRYSTAL SPRINGS — Services for James Randall “Randy” Runnels, 61, of Crystal Springs, who died Saturday, July 7, 2012, at Hospice Ministries, will be at 6 p.m. Friday at County Line Baptist Church in Crystal Springs.

Visitation will be from 5:30 until service time Friday at the church.

Mr. Runnels was born Dec. 31, 1950, in Mississippi, the son of James Runnels and Catherine Runnels Hallman. He was employed by Adams County Correctional Facility as a counselor.

Mr. Runnels was a member of County Line Baptist Church and served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Survivors include one son, Phillip Leigh Runnels; one daughter, Cora Ruth Runnels, both of Richmond, Va.; his mother; one brother, Brian Runnels and wife, Linda, of Crystal Springs; four sisters, Tracie Rushing and husband, Larry, and Roxanne Mack and husband, Ed, all of Crystal Springs, Kathy Lopez and husband, Geno, of Riverside, Calif., and Nancy Hynum and husband, Jeff, of Richland; two grandchildren, Calvin Keifer and Cayla ; and a number of other family members.
