FROGMORE — Services for Josephine C. Gibson, 78, of Ferriday, who died Thursday, July 12, 2012, at Natchez Regional Medical Center, will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. James Baptist Church in Frogmore with the Rev. Michael Smith officiating.

Burial will follow at the church cemetery under the direction of Concordia Funeral Home in Ferriday.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Mrs. Gibson was born March 31, 1934, in Frogmore, the daughter of Robert and Maggie Jefferson Carter.

Mrs. Gibson was employed by Concordia Parish School System as a dietitian.

Survivors include her husband, Beedell Gibson; one daughter, Belinda Benjamin and husband, Johnny, of Pattison; and one sister, Lucy Smith of Ferriday.
