FERRIDAY — A funeral Mass for Nicholas Leonard Pastor, 32, of Lake St. John, who died Saturday, July 28, 2012, in Natchez, will be at 1 p.m. Friday at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church with the Rev. Louis Sklar officiating.

A Rosary service will be at 6 p.m. Thursday at the church.

Visitation will be from noon until service time Friday at the church.

Burial will follow at a later date at Lake Lawn Metairie Cemetery under the direction of Young’s Funeral Home.

Mr. Pastor was born Sept. 26, 1979, in New Orleans.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, John Edward and Mary Alice Hicks and paternal grandfather, Cooper Joseph Pastor.

Survivors include his mother, Mel Shaldnagle and her husband, Bill, of Lake St. John; his father, Kenneth Leonard Pastor of New Orleans; one sister, Allison Jumel Pastor of Sayulita, Mexico; and paternal grandmother, Catherine DeCorte Pastor.
