FERRIDAY — Services for Cynthia Diane Franklin, 50, of Vidalia, who died Wednesday, Aug. 1, 2012, at Riverland Medical Center in Ferriday, will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at Young’s Funeral Home in Ferriday with the Rev. Joel Ford officiating.

Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Young’s Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Mrs. Franklin was born May 5, 1962, in Natchez, the daughter of J.C. and Rosa Mae Rollins Bass.

Mrs. Franklin was Pentecostal.

She was preceded in death by her mother and her husband, Daniel Madison Franklin.

Survivors include her father; one daughter, Denise Thomas; one brother, George Bass, all of Vidalia; two sisters, Wanda Van Norman and husband, Richard, of McComb and Nancy Stockman and husband, R.T., Monterey; five grandchildren, Michael Franklin, Tyra Franklin, Leshawna Hollins, Destini Franklin and Adrianna Thomas; three sisters-in-law, Darlene Weatherly, Betty Parker, both of Vidalia, and Lahomia Burr and husband, Jewel, of Columbia, La.; two brothers-in-law, Jerry Franklin and Bobby Franklin, both of Vidalia; mother-in-law, Bernice Floyd of Vidalia; and a number of nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Pallbearers will be Charlie Coates Jr., Drew Harrison, Ernie Rollins, Gabries Bass, Joel Ford and Jordan Bass.

Honorary pallbearers will be George Bass, Jeremy Montgomery, R.T. Stockman and Trey Weatherly.
