FERRIDAY — Services for Carolyn “GG” Foster Craft, 78, of Waterproof, who died Thursday, Aug. 2, 2012, at her residence, will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Young’s Funeral Home in Ferriday.

Burial will follow at Highland Park Cemetery under the direction of Young’s Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Mrs. Craft was born May 26, 1934, in Prentiss, the daughter of John Foster and Lessie Foster. She was an active Baptist.

Mrs. Craft was preceded in death by her husband, Travis Rayford Craft; her parents; one son, Danny Craft; three brothers, John Kirkley, Jessie Kirkley and Jack Kirkley; and two sisters, Frances Herrington and Mildred Foster.

Survivors include one daughter, Debbie Felder and husband, Gary, of Denham Springs, La.; one brother, Bill Foster of Prentiss; one sister, Lois Gilbert of Eureka, Calif.; an adopted daughter, Sadie Easom of Ferriday; nine grandchildren, Amber Rhodes, Tori Murry, Danny Craft Jr., Rebecca Jordan, Adam Craft, Melanie Morace, Chris Felder, Summer Felder and Jessica Gaston; three special friends, Joan Pitcher, Cecillia Hoffman and Betty King; and a number of family, friends, nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Danny Craft Jr., Adam Craft, Travis Murry, Cade Murry, Sidney Plaisance and Joe Morace.

Honorary pallbearers will be Dr. Huey Moak, the Rev. Corcky Evans, Bill Colvin and Matt Colvin.

The family extends a special thanks to Camilla Hospice for the care they gave and showed.
