Joe and Connie Byrd Etheridge of Natchez and Russell K. Taylor of Meadville announce the engagement of their daughter, Amanda Taylor of Meadville to Richard Justin Allred, son of Richard and Lisa Allred of Eupora.

The bride-to-be is a graduate of Franklin County High School in Meadville and a graduate of the associate degree nursing program at East Mississippi Community College in Mayhew. She is employed as a registered nurse at Oktibbeha County Regional Medical Center in Starkville.

She is the granddaughter of Gayle Hammett Byrd and the late Dexter Byrd of Meadville and the late Leslie Otis and Martha Taylor of Natchez.

The groom-to-be is a graduate of Eupora High School and is also a graduate of East Mississippi Community College and Mississippi State University in Starkville. He is employed as market manager at Supervalu in Eupora.

He is the grandson of the late Burnice “Babe” Ray and William “Buddy” Ray and Alice Odell Allred and the late Andrew Odell Allred, all of Eupora.

The wedding will be at 7 p.m., Saturday, Aug.11, 2012, at The Vue Hotel in Natchez. A reception will follow at the same location.

Formal invitations will be sent to out of town guests only.
