GALLMAN — The Centreville Academy Lady Tigers won two out of their three games on Saturday at the Copiah Academy Tournament.

In the first game of the day, Centreville edged past Amite School Center 2-1. Then the Lady Tigers lost to the host and defending Class AAA state champion Copiah Academy Lady Colonels 7-1.

Centreville then took care of Parklane Academy 11-6 in its third game of the day. The Lady Tigers were then scheduled to take on Jackson Prep, but head coach Mark Mann said that just before game time, bad weather started rolling into Gallman. After waiting for over an hour, the game was called.
