BAKER, La. — Ariana Bigner’s arm was just enough for Centreville Academy Monday night.

Bigner held Central Private School to just three hits in a complete-game performance as Centreville defeated the Lady Rebels 2-0 Monday afternoon in their MAIS District 6-AA opener.

While Bigner was keeping Central Private off the scoreboard, her teammates weren’t able to give her any run support until the top of the fourth inning of the five-inning game (time limit). The Lady Tigers scored two runs in the visiting half of that inning to finally break the scoreless ball game.
