NATCHEZ — Memorial services for Dorothy Clayton King, 61, of Natchez, who died Sunday, July 29, 2012, at Hospices Ministries in Ridgeland, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Melrose Church of Christ with the Rev. Michael Hoggatt officiating.

Mrs. King was born June 2, 1951, in Natchez, the daughter of Joseph and Calena Jones Clayton. She was a member of Melrose Church of Christ.

Mrs. King was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, James King; two grandchildren, Mikayla King Harris and Anthony King; and two brothers, David Clayton and Joseph Clayton Jr.

Survivors include one daughter, Camille King and her children, Joy King, Janice King and James Stovall, all of Natchez; two brothers, Aaron Jones Jr. and wife, Brenda, of Fort Wayne, Ind., and Andrew Jones of Natchez; and six sisters, Clara Williams and husband, Charles, of Baton Rouge, Roberta Clayton and Lois Ann Williams, both of Fort Wayne, Clara Mae Owens and Geraldine Minor and husband, Tommie, all of Natchez, and Denice McCraney of New Orleans.
